Fundraising & Contributions Policy

AlumniBridge provides a channel for voluntary contributions to fundraising campaigns authorized by the college.

Campaign approval and purpose

Only campaigns approved through the college’s designated approval process should accept payments. Each campaign should identify its purpose, intended use of funds and any relevant conditions before contributions are collected.

Receiving entity and accounting

Contributions are intended for the college-designated receiving account. The precise legal account-holder name, registration details and bank ownership must match the documents submitted to the payment provider. The college is responsible for maintaining financial records and using contributions in accordance with approved campaign purposes and applicable law.

Donor acknowledgements

Following confirmed payment, a donor may receive an acknowledgement containing the campaign, amount, date and payment reference. This acknowledgement is not a tax-exemption certificate unless the college has verified and disclosed the necessary legal eligibility.

Refund requests

Fundraising refunds are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Exceptional requests such as duplicate or erroneous payments will be reviewed individually.

Foreign contributions

International or foreign-source contributions must not be enabled unless the college has confirmed compliance with all applicable Indian requirements, including FCRA where relevant, and the payment provider has approved the transaction type.
